Create a secure Online Services account to electronically make payments and
reconcile estimated tax payments.
Information you need to create an account
- You must provide certain information from a specific line from an income
tax return (IT-150, IT-200, IT-201, IT-203, IT-205) that you filed in one of
the past three years; or
- You must provide a valid assessment identification number from a bill the
department mailed to you.
Read the terms and conditions carefully.
Married filing joint taxpayers reconciling estimated tax accounts
You must each create separate Online Services accounts to view and
reconcile your estimated income tax accounts if you made payments under both
spouse's social security numbers. We store estimated tax accounts separately
under each social security number.
Grant access to your tax preparer
You can authorize your tax preparer to access these services on your behalf in
one of two ways.
- Complete the authorization online: Login to your Online
Services account and select "Add/Edit/Remove tax preparer access".
- Complete a Form TR-2000, Online Tax Center Authorization:
Your tax preparer can provide you with a copy of this form. Simply give the
completed form to your tax preparer and they can complete the authorization
process.
Note: your tax preparer must have an Online Services account before you
grant access.
