Under the terms of Section 1846 of the Tax Law, the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance has the authority to sell the stock of confiscated cigarettes which came into the possession of the Department pursuant to judicial law. Restricted sales are open to any interested bidder who possesses a current New York State Stamping Agent License.

This page has been designed to allow you easy electronic access to all bid documents relating to any cigarettes sale identified in the table below. If you are interested in submitting a bid proposal to this Department, be sure to follow all instructions and requirements outlined in the bid documents to avoid the unnecessary rejection of your proposal. Please note - the Department cannot accept bidder proposals electronically.

All amendments, clarifications, and announcements relating to this cigarettes sale will be posted on this Web page under the appropriate sale number. It is the bidder's responsibility to check this Web page periodically for any updates. All applicable amendment information must be incorporated into the bidder's proposal. Failure to include this information with your proposal may result in disqualification.
