This mandate affects you if you file Form ST-810 New York State and Local Quarterly Sales and Use Tax Return for Part-Quarterly Filers, and your business meets these three conditions:
- you don’t use a tax preparer to prepare the required filings;
- you use a computer to prepare, document or calculate your tax forms;
- and you have broadband Internet access.
To get started, you’ll need to:
- Create an Online Services account, if you don't already have one. View our demos to learn how to create your account and use Sales Tax Web File.
- Login to your account and then select the ‘Sales Tax Web File ’ link.
Not all schedules can be e-filed If you use a form or schedule that isn’t currently available for e-filing, continue to file a paper Form ST-810. These forms include:
- Quarterly Schedule N-ATT, Taxes on Parking Services in New York City.
- Quarterly Schedule FR, Sales and Use Tax on Qualified Motor Fuel and Diesel Motor Fuel.
